Horray for Brian D'Arcy James and Sutton Foster!!

I have officially exhausted my right to be wrong about shows that say "DANGER! WARNING! DO-OVER!" yet wind up being magnificent.... or atleast catchy and Tony nominated.
For the most part, I have this down to a science... but I was wrong about Legally Blonde (until Bailey Hanks flew out of the woodwork...but that's an entirely different story) and I will not be wrong about Shrek The Musical.
PROS:
-Sutton Foster
-Brian D'Arcy James
-Chester Gregory (Deux)
-John Tartaglia
-David Lindsay-Abaire
-Jeanine Tesori
-Christopher Sieber
-The costumes and make-up are photograph-ly superb!
PLUS JASON MOORE and Mr. Prince (the choreographer one.)

CONS:
-David Lindasy-Abaire being most known for Rabbit Hole.. not too funny. Can he full-out OGRE it?
-Jeanine Tesori.. I love her.. but will the music be Caroline or Change-y?
-NOT John Lithgow.

Now.. I need to amend the con-section. Jeanine Tesori rocked it out for Shrek. Check out the demo songs! AND crazy pics on www.myspace.com/shrekthemusicalfans

I am really loving the demo's! Especially "The Wall", "Big, Bright Beautiful World" and "I Know It's Today." :)

This is my first blog-y post thang, so other cool factoids::
--West Side Story at the Palace Theatre, after October 19, when Legally Blonde closes.
--I officially bought onstage seats for Spring Awakening AND MY 16th BIRTHDAY in TAMPA!!!! [score one for the underdog!!!]
I am dyiinnnggg to meet my "husband-to-be" -MORE ABOUT HIM ANOTHER DAY!!! :)-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
--Heidi Blickenstaff is in commercials!
--Daniel Radcliffe is officially naked on the Broadhurst Theatre's stage. (...yay....but scary.)
--I saw Eden Espinosa's bare-butt quite close-up at the movie theatre. Rent was awesome! Many tears fell... and we had to find new seats because our (light) dancing and singing disturbed our fellow-movie goers.
--NYMF is very cool this year! Atleast the demo's are. I NEED TO MOVE TO NEW YORK!!!
--COLLEGE is extended.
--Wicked 5th Anniversary CD with bonus stuff is coming out soon!
--Scott Alan's "Dreaming Wide Awake" is re-released! His new CD (With Sutton-Heidi-SCOTT and more singing on it) is coming out soon! =]
--'13' JRB's adorable show is coming out to be downloaded.. TOMORROW. I'm waiting for the CD though.. that comes out just in time for the Holiday Season!
--Raul Esparza is BACK!! With Jeremy Piven and... British..what's her name>..oh, yes! Elizabeth Moss! Horray for David Mammet revivals! (no Madonna this go around.)
--I'm personally thrilled that Xanadu is closed! This is mean. I love Cheyenne (and Mary Testa) but... I am so glad the Helen Hayes Theatre can be filled with another show. Let's revive SPELLING BEE!!
OR heyyy.... HOW ABOUT WE DON'T CLOSE [TITLE OF SHOW]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes.. I think this is the perfect way to end my first blog.
[TITLE OF SHOW] is a beautiful, "wonderful, super, fantastic, coolness, remarkable" (thank you Joe Iconis) show! Check out the [TOS]timonial's on youtube, if you don't believe me.. but I love this show, the sentiments and the lyrics, especially to songs like "Die Vampire, Die!" and "Nine People's Favorite Thing." I am soo saddened by the premature end. I remember when [TOS] was NYMFing it.. and at the Vineyard Theatre. The show grew to the "JULYCEUM" -Lyceum- and everyone who sees it, ABSOLUTELY ADORES IT!!! ....Anyone else choose to recall Taboo's close?
I know we can still expect magic from Hunter, Jeffy, Susan, Heidi, Larry and Michael.. and have emailed Rosie and Ellen (Check out their site http://www.titleofshow.com/ to join the fight!) but I need to SEE the show before it closes..... and so does the rest of the world!!!

Closing great shows is the reason for all the war and hate!!!!!

I hate having the ability to recite eveything about a show.. except for how bautiful the theatre was. Icky predicament.
Oh, well.. two more years.

I think this is enough for today.. I have to go Rosh Hashana. Shanah Tovah!

Posting your innermost feelings is a wonderful catharsis, though. Thank you BLOGGER!!
